the company

Since its creation in the spring of 2012, the company Selon l'Heure, settled in Paris, has supported four productions by artist Ali Moini. Composed in the beginning of the binomial Ali Moini _ choreographer / Yann Gibert _ manager, this structure finds in its creation the formalisation of a collaboration that started in 2010 with the première of the solo My Paradoxical Knives.
Since January 2020 the company is managed by production office Latitudes Contemporaines.

The creation of the company Selon l'Heure in 2012 coincides with the first production of a show of Ali Moini on the French territory, It Shocks Me But not You, by invitation of the Montpellier Danse festival.

In November 2013, Ali Moini creates LIVES, a collaborative solo, at the Théâtre de la Cité Internationale, as part of the New Settings program.  He receives for this creation the support of the Fondation d’Entreprise Hermès, the CNDC Angers and the Tanzquartier Wien.

The Fondation d’Entreprise Hermès and the Montpellier Danse Festival are once again partners of the company to support in 2016 the creation of Man Anam Ke Rostam Bovad Pahlavan, a solo performance appearing as a pas-de-deux with a human-sized puppet, live musicians and monumental scenography... About this show, Rosita Boisseau will write in Le Monde that Ali Moini « becomes here the instrument of an incredible machinery, fascinating by its visual force and its connections between death and life ». This creation was the first opportunity for the company to apply for a grant from the French Ministry of Culture. Selon l'Heure is selected unanimously to receive the production support grant. For this creation, Ali Moini also receives the support of the National Dance Center, through an "extended residence » during the whole year of 2016.

In 2017, the French Institute is our partner for the research period linked to the company’s creation of 2018 by awarding Ali Moini with an off-the-wall artistic residency grant for 2 months of work in Iran. EMPAC (Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center), located in Troy, New York, also supports the company in 2017, funding two periods of research residency: the first in Dusseldorf in partnership with the Tanzhaus, then, in its prestigious venue in November 2017.

In 2018, a choreographic piece will be created for four performers, the premiere will take place on October 2nd at La Passerelle Scène Nationale in Saint Brieuc. The show will then be presented in November 2018 at Centre Pompidou (Paris), Le Manège de Reims & Charleroi Danse (Brussels).
